Paint Chip Bookmarks

I loved this craft and I plan to do it again. Paint samples (the square chips from the hardware store or Walmart) are FREE! I started collected a couple each time I went to the store, and after a few months, I had enough for a program. A patron also generously donated a bag of samples, so we had plenty of colors to choose from. There was minimal set-up and clean up. Next time, I might just make it a ‘workshop’ where the kids can make whatever they want. Many of the tweens wound of making little paint chip creatures. You could also make mosiac type drawings using the Nintendo pixel art patterns.
