Tree Art

I've done 'tree art' more than once. It's a great on-the-spot craft that's customizable. You can use almost anything for the 'leaves': cereal, tissue paper, beads, buttons, beans, etc. I like to do this activity when I'm entertaining preschoolers. They tend to have the best luck with cereal. Older kids have a lot of fun with crumpled tissue paper. Buttons work for everyone, but tweens have been especially into 'button art' lately.
